Events

The Psychology Research Think Tank holds and participates in various activities each semester, including meetings, conferences, and social events.

Meetings

The Psychology Research Think Tank holds seven meetings each semester. At the first few meetings, we discuss current research projects. Towards the end of the semester, we discuss future research proposals and decide which ones are viable.

All meetings are from 5:30 to 6:30 PM in the new Psychology Building (PYB 1002). Be sure to attend as many of the meetings as possible, as this is a major factor in selecting supporting authors for research studies.

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts will be provided at all meetings at no cost to attendees.

Research Conferences

The Psychology Research Think Tank is committed to sharing the research we do with the academic community. Past conferences that the Think Tank has participated in include the UA Undergraduate Research & Creative Activity Conference and the Alabama Psychological Association Annual Convention.

If you are interested in participating in a research conference, be sure to contact our Vice President, Ameila Geist.

Social Events

The Think Tank offers members the opportunity to participate in fun social events, including parties at Dr. George's house. We typically hold these events once a semester. To learn more, come to meetings and stay tuned!
